Real Radio hosts 10th Annual Philips Phile Poker Tournament

Phile Science Center 2011 (4)

On August 23rd of this year, the Orlando Science Center proudly hosted the 10th Annual Philips Phile Poker Tournament put on by Real Radio 104.1. In its sixth consecutive year here at the center, we saw features that continued to keep guests entertained throughout the night! Located in our Dino Digs event space, attendees were invited to play on any of the 19 poker tables supplied by Fun Planners. Feel like poker isn’t for you? Real Radio had just the solution, offering guests to participate on any of its other playing tables, including roulette and various casino games. Other features included a photo opportunity by 12THIRTY4 photography, a glowing table for the final players, and my personal favorite, a slot machine placed before the entrance if you just couldn’t wait to get started!

This event welcomed a variety of vendors to the Science Center. Porkies BBQ catered food throughout the tournament while Cut the Cake supplied a tasty array of sweets! Subsequently, Ember expertly handled the bar services for the duration of night alongside JVR Productions who set up a rum sampling booth. 12THIRTY4 Photography was there to capture each moment of the event and CORT brought in luxurious furniture to place around the room!

The Orlando Science Center looks forward to the future of this event and all the fun that comes with it! We thank all of the participants who made the night such a success. Until next year!roulette
